Coronavirus Relief

If you’re anything like me, sitting at home doesn’t feel much like joining in the global fight against COVID-19. Surely there’s more we can do while we #stayhome!

Because of their fragile healthcare system, the government of Uganda has just put sweeping quarantine measures in place, keeping all vehicles off the street and enforcing a strict curfew. To make things worse, the changes came without warning, stranding many people far from home. Those in their houses have little to eat and no way to get more.

All churches are now closed across the country. Deep in the villages, most do not have internet access or even cell phones to stay connected in a time that has many families terrified of the future. Our boats sit idle at the dock and all of our regular ministry events, mission trips, and church visits have been postponed. But there is still so much that Bold Ventures can do to help in this difficult time!

Our Bold Plan

Our leaders have strategized a way to keep strengthening the missionaries, pastors, leaders, and congregations that we serve throughout East Africa. It’s a bold plan that will hold our leaders over until this storm passes by. Together, we will:
– Distribute food and essential supplies to needy families.
– Purchase cell phones, airtime minutes, and internet access for affected leaders.
– Give out bicycles for stranded leaders that must find creative ways to survive.
– Sponsor radio time for mass communication across Lake Victoria.

We already have $1,000 pledged for this relief plan, but may need upwards of $10,000 by the time this crisis is over.

Will You Join Us?

Would you prayerfully consider helping our African brothers and sisters with a financial gift at this time? We will rush any amount you give will to aid them in their present distress.

Thank you for your generosity! This is a global fight, and together we will come out victorious on the other side.
