New Instrumental Prayer Album!

Brent Earwicker - Abide
While attending a local church Bible school at Capital Christian Center over a decade ago, I became frustrated with the lack of available atmosphere-setting, instrumental music to aid in times of prayer, and decided to fill the need myself. My first album (Communion) was a rough recording produced when my wife-to-be hit “record” on the sound booth computer and captured whatever I played for the next hour. Due to the continued lack of quality music in the instrumental prophetic/prayer genre, this raw album has been on repeat for over a decade in many houses of prayer, and has been in popular use at weddings.

And now today we’ve finally released a new project that began over three years ago in my brother’s home studio in Bend, Oregon. Evan Earwicker & Casey Parnell spent many hours tweaking the sounds of my keyboard, amateur hammered dulcimer and penny whistle while my family and I were passing through on a brief furlough visit. Because we set sail for Uganda once again, we abruptly left this new prayer resource project undone until Seth Sokoloff got ahold the files and finished the mix from Life Church in Uganda earlier this summer.

So here it is, released this morning on iTunes, Amazon, & Rhapsody (with Spotify and many more online stores to follow in the next couple weeks): My latest attempt to encourage your times of prayer. If you get a copy, help spread the word by giving your honest review and tweet about the album to encourage others to grab it too.
