Partnership Expands the Church in East Africa

Let’s reach the world together! Jesus’ Great Commission 2000 years ago was for His whole Church. As such, there is no single organization that has the ability to disciple the nations. At Bold Ventures, we do what we can and partner with other like-minded ministries. The results are amazing!

Partnership is Expansive

In May, I met up with our team after their week of training church leaders from all over the southwest corner of Lake Victoria. When I arrived, one of the bishops from the Africa Inland Church was guiding our team, wearing his clerical collar. Trapped at the border by officials, a pastor from the International Full Gospel Fellowship showed up to free us. He then introduced us to a dozen Tanzanian island pastors that we will bring into our Island Leadership Network.

Partnership Is Strategic

Last month, Moses Lubega, our Executive Director in Uganda, traveled with Ministry Training Network to Kenya. He had just finished teaching Assembly of God pastors in Jinja with missionaries from Victory Family Centre in Singapore. These leaders imparted wisdom for discipleship and church planting. Afterward, we began working on plans to shift one of our Ugandan missionaries to their church near the Bidi Bidi refugee camp in Northern Uganda.

Partnership Is Working

Right now our team is finishing up a week of ministry with church leaders on the Buvuma Islands. We were first introduced to the leaders on this half of the lake by Shepherd’s Heart International Ministries. All week we are working with trainers from KIDStory, an organization that uses Bible storying to train children’s workers. This is something we desperately need in our island churches!

Thank you to the generous individuals, businesses, foundations, and churches that make up our support team on this side of the world. We are getting the Good News to people who have never heard it before, and we are doing it together!
